You Are Not Alone

There is no financial temptation you will encounter that is not common to all of us. (1 Cor 10:13). The source of these temptations is our own passionate cravings or our enemy who wants to place us in financial bondage. Knowing and obeying the truth about managing God’s money will set us free. (John 8:31-32)
Since we all must confront common temptations, one defense we have is to develop like-minded accountability partners. These partners can stimulate us to stay the course no matter what temptations we face. (Hebrews 10:24-25).
As we continue to press forward, we will learn that though we fall a number of times, we can get up and continue to move forward. (Proverbs 24:16) As we sharpen one another, we train ourselves to recognize, avoid, and escape from such alluring traps as 0% interest. We will train our senses to discern good and evil, right and wrong, truth and error, profit and loss.
